My Story

My name is Juliette Rowley, I am married to my very supportive husband and we have three amazing children, two boys and a girl.  My experiences with my children, a love of babies and children and a natural urge to pass on my experience, led me to train with Nurturing Birth as a doula.

I spent the first years of my working life as a casting agent for film and television which I believe has helped me bond with many great people from very different backgrounds.  I love to help make people feel calm and confident.

Becoming a parent and parenthood, is the most amazing adventure any person can embark upon. Giving birth can be filled with fear and apprehension or be approached with confidence and support. As a doula, I wish to be able to help all women to enter this time in their life with all the assurance and support necessary for a safe and healthy birth.

I hope to enable you to have the most satisfying and empowered time during your pregnancy, birth and the early days as a new mum. 

I have experience in naural births, Water births and C - sections. I practice hypnobirthing by teaching understanding of the way in which the uterus functions naturally during normal childbirth when unencumbered by fear, along with the ill effects of the fear-tension-pain cycle on the birthing process.  I teach relaxation, meditation and visualisation that allow the body to birth normally without restriction.  Hypnobirthing may also impact the duration of labour and reduces surgical interventions during delivery.

I work post-natally, with single children, twins and with older siblings. I have practical skills to offer such as cooking, baking, light housework and am a Car Owner and Driver. I have worked with clients both Birth and Post Natal from many nationalities.  

I have experience in Stem Cell therapy, Placenta Smoothies and capsules, Breast feeding, Baby massage, reflux, lactose intolerance and allergies in babies.
